For hundreds of years, White sage (Salvia Apiana) has been considered a sacred, purifying plant.

Native Americans started the tradition of burning its dry bundled leaves, during their purification ceremonies and healing sessions, to cleanse a space or a person of all evil spirits or negative energies.

Sage has a distinct fragrance in many variants, White and Blue Sage to name a couple both varying degrees of strength in the scent.  Also when combined with another herb or wood the fragrance is adjusted.

This White Sage and Cinnamon smudge stick has amazing attributes.  The Cinnamon is the polar opposite of White Sage and as a combination the fragrance is out of this world.

But as Cinnamon is one of my all time favourite fragrances to burn as an incense, fragrance oil and smudge stick (not to mention cooking Cinnamon Cookies).

Cinnamon is traditionally burnt for wealth, prosperity and business success it can also be used for healing and strengthening you psychic powers.  Bringing good luck into your life and the energy you will need to fulfil your goals attracting prosperity and good fortune.

White Sage produces negative ions which give you the feeling of a cleansed room.  Both White Sage and Cinnamon will cleanse your home and mind (it is always best to make sure you have good ventilation when smudging), this allows the bad energy to leave.

Today we have found that people are using these smudge sticks for the same beneficial attributes as well as their quality.

Light your smudge stick and blow gently until you see it begin to smoke.  Always remember to have a smudge bowl, plate or shell to hold underneath your lit smudge stick.

Keep away from children and pets.

We try to make sure that we use as little plastic as possible and our smudges, wood and herbs are bought in bulk and packed in air tight containers.  When posted they will be wrapped in brown paper and placed in a cardboard outer.  Try to keep the product in an airtight container, a glass jar or similar.
